DownloadSince 1963, Gemini Incorporated has been family owned. The success of that enterprise has enabled funding for the prestigious Gemini Scholarship.
The desire to provide opportunities for the best and the brightest in Gemini's local communities to pursue STEM based education is the reason the scholarship was funded.
Recipients of the Gemini Scholarships have become leaders in science in many different industries: Automation, Aerospace, Government, Bio-Medical, Robotics, Instrumentation, to name just a few.

Students majoring in engineering, who are graduating from the following high schools that Gemini has established relationships will have priority: Cannon Falls, MN, Decorah, IA, Farmville, VA, Fallon, NV, Taylor, TX. Applications accepted from high schools within 15 miles of these locations or 15 miles from any of Gemini's North American locations will also be accepted, but will not be given priority.
Students pursuing 4 year degrees in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering. The school must have graduate engineering programs and be rated by the US News & World Report in the top 40 of schools in the United States for Engineering Undergraduate programs at the time they are accepted to the University.
ACT scores in excess of 28, in particular on Math/Science with outstanding high school grades and extra-curricular activities have the best chance of becoming a finalist and winning the scholarship. Students who have already enrolled who are from eligible high school programs may also apply for their remaining years of college undergraduate study.
Successful applicants will receive a maximum of $12,500 per semester of tuition for four years of undergraduate study by the scholarship provided they maintain a 3.0 GPA in their studies. Proof of GPA is required to remain eligible to receive continuing scholarship funds. Payments are made directly to the University bursar's office on behalf of the student.
